Cork Modular
the project
The COMO project began in 2015 and was launched in 2016 in Portugal.
The brand developed two different pieces made of cork and leather straps, whose combination can generate various modular solutions that can serve as decorative elements or furniture.

Due to the flexibility of the modules, the result of their combination, as well as their purpose, will depend on the creativity of the user. For this reason, the approach adopted is assembly by the customers in their own homes.

Descending from the basic idea, two distinct models emerge: MOMO and MOCO. The first is a model that derives from the basic idea but consists of a set of three modules, with different sizes, and they arrive at the customer already assembled. The MOCO model is a lamp formed with a cork base and represents a greater ease of sale.

Logo Design
The logo draws its inspiration from the modularity of the MOCO model. Its geometric structure reflects the interconnectivity and versatility of COMO’s pieces, creating a visual metaphor for the endless combinations the brand empowers its users to create. The minimalist design captures the simplicity of the cork modules, while subtle curved elements echo the organic feel of the material.
